Pixelarte is a close-knit family located in the heart of Valencia, enjoying the details and a more than evident passion for design, illustration, and communication.
We adore our profession, which leads us to put our heart into every job we do and face any project with constant evolution.
Our work process
- we connect
- we research
- we design
We are passionate about design, creativity, and above all, the curiosity that drives us in each new project. We don’t have complicated names to describe our process: we prefer to summarize it as conversation, consideration, and creation
We approach each new project as a new challenge. We love to design and enjoy the entire process. That’s why we prioritize connecting with clients, their businesses, and their needs. Because if there’s one thing we’re sure of, it’s that problems are solved through communication.
To be able to see the problem from all angles, we always go through a research process that allows us to fully immerse ourselves in the company’s universe and its needs, so that we can make the best possible decisions.
With all the pieces in place, it’s time to get to work! With our experience and enthusiasm, the design phase is synonymous with creativity, analysis, and experimentation. The perfect combination to find the perfect solution to any design problem.
How we work
Our creative team
1972. Founder of the studio. He trained in design at the current EASD while studying various courses in advertising and product photography, film, and audiovisuals. After several years working in advertising and television production companies, he began working in various design studios and advertising agencies in Valencia. During this stage, he acquired great experience that would help him create Pixelarte, which was launched in 2004. Since then, he has been the creative director of the studio and its photographer, while also working as a professor in the Master’s program in Design and Graphic Communication at CEU University, where he teaches brand design and artificial intelligence workshops.
Jorge Timoteo
Studio Director and founder
1996. Our red-haired colleague comes from the Czech Republic, where she completed her degree at the Western Pilsen University, including an Erasmus program at the EASD in Valencia. After studying a master’s in design and communication, Veronika joined our studio following an internship. She has a multidisciplinary design profile with a special interest in corporate identity. In her free time, she dedicates herself to creating free conceptual art and installations, under the group DVEPERLY. She is learning Spanish day by day, although she is sure that “fantasía” is her favorite word.
Veronika Dusilová
Creative Director, designer and illustrator
1995. With an artistic soul cultivated in the Fine Arts faculty at UPV, they bring an overwhelming passion for graphic design, illustration, and motion design. Their previous experience in related creative projects gives them a fresh perspective that enriches our creative projects. When they’re not shaking up the studio, you can find them at any concert you go to, or, on the contrary, calmly escaping to the middle of the mountains.
Miguel Martínez
Graphic designer, illustrator and motion graphic designer
1999. Vicent joined the team a year after finishing his graphic design studies at EASD Valencia. Although it may seem like he only comes to the studio for coffee, he loves editorial design in all its forms and, of course, a good typographic pairing. As original as they come, he can’t say no to good beers and absurd conversations with friends. And, as he reminds us daily with his passion for soccer, he is a retired ex-footballer.
Vicent Pascual
Graphic designer and motion graphic designer
1978. With a degree in graphic design from the Polytechnic of Turin in Italy, he has worked in various design studios and as a freelancer. He specializes in web design and development, areas in which he has over fifteen years of experience. He describes himself as a detail-oriented person who likes to stay up-to-date with the latest trends. For fun, he visits museums, practices hiking, and is interested in archaeology.
Eriberto Caria
Graphic designer and web developer
When they’re not guarding the studio door, Fito and Frida are either sleeping or practicing high jumps to steal our lunches. We don’t know how they do it, but they always end up tasting some. They bark in Dolby Surround 5.1 and perform professional tap dancing on the parquet. The studio wouldn’t be the same without them.
