Packaging Design for Pinturas La Pajarita
How we reinvented the labeling of a century-old brand to connect with Its audience
The packaging redesign for Pinturas La Pajarita, a company with nearly 100 years of history that has remained at the forefront of the paint and decoration sector, was not only a technical challenge but also an opportunity to establish a deeper emotional connection with its target audience—something crucial in an increasingly competitive market.
The packaging design we developed for Pinturas La Pajarita laid the foundation for their visual renewal. We later applied this same clarity and creativity philosophy to their corporate identity, creating a cohesive graphic system that unifies all their products.
The Challenge: Reinventing a Century-Old Brand
Pinturas La Pajarita has been renowned for its innovation and quality since its founding in 1928. However, its packaging did not reflect the brand’s essence—creativity, quality, and sustainability.
The paint industry tends to have a highly industrial approach, with packaging that often lacks clarity and emotional connection with the consumer. This resulted in confusion among buyers when choosing a product, affecting both the customer experience and the recommendation process by store assistants.
Our goal was clear: to create a packaging system that was not only functional but also reflected the brand’s values and connected with its audience. To achieve this, we focused on two fundamental pillars: Clarity of information and Visual consistency.
Emotional Connection Through Design
At Pixelarte, we believe that packaging design should not only be functional but also emotional. That’s why we worked on a design that evokes creativity and quality, two fundamental values for Pinturas La Pajarita.
We used flexible typography that adapts to different text lengths and evocative images that showcase product finishes. These images, created using photography and AI tools, demonstrate what users can achieve with the products, fostering inspiration and an emotional connection.
Results: Packaging That Communicates and Connects
The final result is packaging that not only informs but also inspires. With this redesign, Pinturas La Pajarita has significantly improved its market positioning, both nationally and internationally.
Consumers can now easily identify the products that best suit their needs, while the brand strengthens its image of innovation and quality.
At Pixelarte, we understand how great packaging design can transform a brand’s perception and establish a strong emotional connection with its audience.
