Lacambra: brand identity for a guitar school in Valencia

Lacambra is a specialized guitar school located in Valencia. The centre needed a new brand identity that reflected the philosophy and professionalization of their teaching methodology, so in 2016 they decided to contact with Pixelarte. The combination of their values had to be reflected in its new corporate image, projecting Lacambra’s differentiation from their competitors.
Due to their specialization, the guitar emerged as an identifying element of the brand. For the logo design we wanted to represent this symbol in a simple and recognizable way, through lines and dots that shaped different guitar chords. Thus, we created a dynamic and lively logo, which brought fresh and direct communication to the brand image.
This new version of corporate identity was specially designed for web and social media application. But we also worked the brand globally, creating an applied graphics design, business cards, interior and exterior signage for the facilities, and a line of posters with photographs. This signage system combined a duotone of corporate colours (bronze and navy) with famous quotes from some of the best guitarists in history, such as Jimi Hendrix or B. B. King.
A small project in which we tried to capture all the emotions that music transmits to us.
