Off Performing Arts: corporate identity, branding and communication
Global brand identity for theatre and cinema school in Valencia
Off Performing Arts is a theatre and cinema school in Valencia with two decades of experience, a fact that makes it one of the benchmarks in the field of teaching the Performing and Audiovisual Arts in Spain. The school has an equipped theatre room, its own professional company and an audiovisual production company, as well as extensive experience in training professionals in the sector.
Off brand had become obsolete over the years, so they contacted us in 2018 to update their corporate image. At Pixelarte, we wanted to reflect the modernity of its philosophy and the freshness of its program in its new brand image. For this reason, we created a new logo design with the respective brand segmentations for its different spaces: school, gallery, hall and canteen. In addition, we chose a colour palette for each area that reflected the vanguard of an academic centre with the dimensions of Off.
We also carried out the design of staff IDs, student cards and the ticket system for shows. The latter, with very identifying illustrations, in mono-stroke and with a frame system, designed ad hoc for each theatre play to perform. Likewise, the poster design, corporate stationery and applied graphics was carried out to label the exterior facade of the local. And we made our own outdoor advertising proposal, as well as an internal signage system.
As the school also has a cafeteria, we made a packaging design proposal for the canteen’s products, as well as a menu design and personalization of their profiles on social networks.
The challenge was to create a fresh and modern image that would approach to the young audience of the school. Challenge achieved!
