Dermocracy: 360º visual identity design for a new cosmetic brand.
Branding, packaging, and communication for a brand that is born with the idea of democratizing one of the fastest-growing sectors today.
Dermocracy is a new brand born to “democratize” one of the most booming sectors in recent times: cosmetics. Its need? A 360º identity that would allow it to make a space for itself in a world where we increasingly find more options.
At Pixelarte, we developed the branding and coordinated graphics, in order to then translate that identity into pieces such as packaging, the website, or the general communication of the brand. The challenge in this case was to create powerful graphics that would help reinforce the idea that, despite being a new brand, the product proposal was valuable and that including the 33 references with which the brand began in a catalog or shelf of large distribution chains was going to be a success.
In the case of these types of products, the main point of contact with the consumer is the physical point of sale in specialized stores and perfumeries, so the packaging is the brand’s presentation card and must convey the values of effectiveness, honesty, and transparency that are so characteristic of the brand. Thus, the packaging is responsible for both inviting new consumers to try that brand and helping the consumer to practice repeat purchases.
What all of this leads to is the creation of an identity capable of propelling a new brand to enter the market with an image of a solid and prepared company ready to compete against brands that already have some experience in the sector. We invite you to discover it yourself!
What did we do?
· Creative direction
· Corporate identity
· Coordinated graphics
· Packaging
· Brand guardians
· Social media graphics
· Interface design
The identity is based on honesty and transparency, which is reflected in details such as the formulation being placed ahead of the brand logo in the packaging.
After creating the identity, at Pixelarte we acted as brand guardians for the brand, ensuring that all pieces created by the client followed the established graphic guidelines and providing tips or even intervening in pieces that required more attention.
